Bunch of Thoughts is one of the two controversial books written by M. S. Golwalkar, also referred to as Guruji, who was the second Sarsanghchalak (Supreme Leader) of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. This book was published in 1966.The RSS leaders Rajendra Singh and Bhaurao Deoras had made a joint statement in 1978 to the effect that Golwalkar's purpose of writing ''Bunch of Thoughts'' was: ==Religion and Politics==
*In ''Bunch of Thoughts'', Golwalkar hails the glories of India and of Hinduism. He also excoriates those Indians who are not Hindus, while claiming that the "hostile elements within the country pose a far greater menace to national security than aggressors from outside". Golwalkar's main targets are Muslims, Christians, and Communists.
